We successfully installed and completed the entire plant automation system for OCL Iron & Steel in Orissa. Our firm undertook and executed this 350 x 2 tons-per-day (TPD) production project with exceptional technical efficiency. The scope of work encompassed the design, production, testing, and handover of the complete project to the client.
Our expert engineering team demonstrated remarkable proficiency throughout the entire process. This included the initial meticulous preparation of electrical and automation designs, specifically electrical panel design and sizing, as well as the creation of comprehensive Bills of Material (BOMs). Following this stage, effective coordination of panel production and supply after successful testing was crucial.
For the 350 TPD DRI project, Cummins supplied AC500 PLCs and smart MCC and PCC panels. These intelligent panels facilitate future innovation and development by requiring fewer cables and offering a cost-effective solution for the client. For this particular project, the engineering team received significant commendation for ensuring a seamless delivery and providing excellent after-sales service.
